about

Experimental pop with folksy roots, 3 Women is a meditation on the complex relationships between mothers, daughters, and sisters. Although it isn't a love song in the traditional sense, it deals with the frustrations of sisterly and motherly love, as well as female friendship.

lyrics

I want to see you through
For whatever your story means
Can we put aside our differences,
Repair the broken seams?

Outcasts in mother's world
In the shadows of her broken dreams
Her voice will sometimes linger when
We've lost what we believe

Sometimes I wonder
Would you be true to the end?
If we weren't bound by a mother,
Could I still call you a friend?

No room for bitterness
I long for things to be sweet
I'd never wish for a thing like this
To ever repeat

I'm sure that we weren't born
To live without a chance to see
What beauty lies with opened eyes
To finally feel free

Sometimes I wonder
Would you be true to the end?
If we weren't bound by a mother,
Could I still call you a friend?

I want to see you through
For whatever your story means
Can we put aside our differences
To share our thoughts and dreams
